Our trip prices include all of the internal transfers once you land in Georgia. When we know your arrival details, we will make all the arrangements for how you get to Bakhmaro. The final leg of the journey to our accommodation in Bakhmaro takes one hour by snowcat. Kutaisi

Kutaisi is the closest airport to Bakhmaro, and your best option.
Transfer time: 1.5 hours van + 1 hour snowcat

Batumi is 115 km from the closest village to Bakhmaro.
Transfer time: 2.5 hours van + 1 hour snowcat

Batumi International Airport has direct flights to and from Turkey, Israel, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Poland, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kuwait and Iran.

If you are making a connecting flight for Georgia, this can provide you with an alternative option to Kutaisi.

Tbilisi International Airport

Tbilisi is the furthest airport from Bakhmaro.
Transfer time: 6 hours van + 1 hour snowcat
This transfer time will be longer if we are collecting guests from Kutaisi on the way to Bakhmaro.

Although it has a long transfer time, Tbilisi is the largest airport in Georgia and has far more flight options. We can arrange transfers to and from Tbilisi, but please do consider the extra transfer time needed on the first day to get you up to the lodge. Some guests prefer to arrive a day early, have some time enjoying Tbilisi, and then get on the road first thing in the morning.
